LOL, yes you were, you and Kagen were on that ride.

As for how we did it, I think I recall us running the bailing wire (a few times) threw the hollow axle and then on each side wrapping it around the swing arm to "hold" the axle in place... same thing for the spacer, which surprisingly hadn't fallen off yet.

I know alot of trails from Talihina state park that are not on the main trail system. I can get all the way past hwy 259. About 90% dirt 10% hwy, can get around alot of the real hard trails. I would volunteer to take a group if anyone is interested. I've been riding the area for over 15 years.

Sounds like you are on the right track. My routine is this.....change the front and rear tires at home. Anything you used to do that.... throw it in the tool bag.Other items: Toilet-paper, zipties, duct-tape, quicksteel, extra spark plug, some rope, first-aid kit.Beyond that it depends on the length of the trip & how far from the pavement you intend to get.

And if you can find a sucker with a 9 gallon gas tank to ride with you don't have to worry about running out of fuel.

Pretty sure I'm in, but I won't make it until Late friday night or early Saturday morning because I have to shoot a football game friday night. Now where did I put that fork seal.....
