At Stillwater Guy and Chuck Cooper both have skid steers that they groom the trails with. Maybe we need to look into buying one. We talked a little bit about that last year.

My brother found a small skid loader for moving hay in his barn...it's only 3 foot wide.  That would be a great size if you think something like that would be able to do what we need?  I can ask my brother for more information on it if it would work.

Just a FYI    Stillwater 500 yearly rate is going to 75.00 yearly starting Feb 1st.  Get your premits now if you ride there.   The rate states its for 2 motorcycles and children 15 and under.

Hey Joe,  Where do you get permits?  Can you get them on weekends?

Gary,  Permits can be bought at most Stillwater motorcycle shops, Coopers Bicycle or locksmith shops.   The motorcycle shops should be able to sell you one on Saturdays.  The new Yamaha shop is now on Highway 51, so it isnt to far of the way I use to get to 500 acres.
Let me know if you decide to ride there,  I can be there too.

I have not ridden the Stillwater 500 area, and I do enjoy the draper trails.  I don't have a problem with how it's maintained, I like some challenge and some unpredictable terrain.  My problem is it's SO SLOW.  I would like a few tapped out sections and some faster stuff with some jumps would be nice.  I get tired of 2nd and 3rd gear switchbacks all day long.

But I have no gripes about the maintenance, I think you guys do a great job.
