Had not heard yet about the date this year so I did some checking and the above dates are correct to my knowledge. I already made the reservation for Gayla and I. The Arkansas 500 is a Dual Sport ride (not race) that spans three days and travels over 500 miles of back roads in the Natural State. Arkansas offers great, diverse sites and experiences for dual sport riders, including beautiful wooded forest, large hill climbs, incredible water crossings and more back roads that can be ridden in 10 years! Get on your bike and ride the 2nd Annual Arkansas 500 April 13-15, 2012 with like-minded people out for a great weekend.

The ride begins at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge seven miles south of Eureka Springs, AR. on hwy 23.   Everyone meets at 8 for a short meeting and the ride starts at 8:30.  A sag truck is provided to haul camping gear to both campgrounds.  There will be a fee for everyone this year.  The cost will be kept minimal.  We need only to cover cost of Friday night and Saturday night dinners along with two breakfast.  We want to make this ride easy for everyone so we get the most out of riding.  See ya in April!
