2008 Honda Transalp ... too bad we won't see it in the States.
Motorcycle Daily has the scoop on the 2008 Honda Transalp. Looks like a sweet ride and another potential dualsport machine. I never will understand why models such as this aren't offered on our side of the pond...

You've got that right! The other bike I would like to see Honda offer in the States is the FMX-650 (supermoto dual sport). Highway capable dual sports seem to be selling like hot-cakes, and the silence from Honda is deafening.
Hi, I'm from Germany. This year the Motorcycle Industy introduce many new Dualsport Bikes in Europe. Esp. BMW with the new F 800 GS and the complete streetlegal G 450 X Enduro have very interesting Modells. The Yamaha WR 250 X will be also available. And Beta have a interesting concept of a Trail bike wich you convert in Seconds to a Trial Bike. It's called Alp 200.
BTW, I like your Blog and visit it as offen as I could. It is very interesting how dualsport works in the United States.
